Spicer Meadow Reservoir

Spicer Meadow Reservoir is a 2,000-acre alpine lake in the Stanislaus National Forest (Alpine/Tuolumne County, CA) offering popular high-Sierra recreation at 6,600+ feet elevation. Known for fishing, kayaking, and camping, it features a paved boat launch and, when full, is a scenic spot for hiking and, in parts, non-motorized boating.

Paddling Spicer

Spicer is managed for non-motorized uses only making it a great place to paddle kayaks, SUPs, and canoes! There are multiple camp sites and a public boat launch. The fishing is amazing as well!

Hiking and Backpacking

Spicer Meadow Reservoir provides hikers with multiple trailheads accessing the Carson-Iceberg Wilderness area. Dispersed camping and backcountry access available.
