Meet The Expert Staff In Arnold!
Clint
Raised in Tuolumne County, Clint Smitheman has been exploring the Sierra Nevada since before he could walk, and he’s been skiing since the age of 10. He’s hiked, climbed, or skied over 100 peaks in the Sierra and his current obsession is his Never Summer Ski Project, an unbroken string of skiing every month in the 21st century. When he’s not busy being SNAC’s IT Department or Meteorologist, he pursues his other passions – international adventures with his life partner Susan, and dog sledding.
Chad
To say that Chad is passionate about snowsports would be an understatement. He’s been snowboarding since ’87 and worked in the industry for over 20 years. He’s coached on the Mountain and does everything from ski & board tuning to running the rental room to being a SNAC Buyer. His priority is providing great customer service, educating our customers, and sharing his passions with his twins – snowboarding, canoe-camping and attending GIANTS games!
Eric
Sliding on snow since the age of two, Eric has lived his life peak to creek. Growing up in the PNW, his passion for the outdoors has taken him through Big Sky Country, Colorado and now the Sierra. If it’s in the West, he’s most likely shredded it, or fished it. He started in the ski and snowboard industry in 2006 and continues to give back through shop work, spreading knowledge and being of service to the industry he loves. Furthering the stoke by tuning & repairing skis and snowboards, boot fitting, and dialing in set ups for both beginners and experts are what he’s about.
