You're the Miles Davies of the slopes, and every ride is an epic solo of freewheeling snowboarding bebop. It's only natural that you're drawn towards the K2 Instrument Snowboard, an all-mountain ripper that rewards the free-spirited rider.
Its medium-firm profile and slightly tapered shape deliver exceptional all-terrain capability, while the smooth-flexing S1 Core and Carbon Torque Forks™ provide a great balance of power and response. Lay down tight solos on powder fields, hit the high notes on the groomers, and jam out to your heart's content through the chop. The K2 Instrument Snowboard is the full package.
Directional Camber Profile
The most responsive camber profile in the line features camber running from in front of the front foot to the tail of the board, with slight early rise in the nose. This gives the rider the most precision and control possible in any terrain while still floating effortlessly in the deep stuff.
Flex Rating – 7 (1 Playful - 10 Precise)
Volume Shift™
Volume is moved from the tips and tails of traditional snowboard shapes and placed underfoot where it can be better controlled. This makes a wider, shorter design that maintains the same float and stability of a traditional board, but increases mobility and maneuverability. Size down 4-6cm from your usual snowboard length.
S1 Core
The smooth-flexing cousin to the A1 core, K2's new S1 core is designed to be damp underfoot and stronger than hell.
ICG™ 10 Biaxial Carbon Glass
Integrating tip-to-tail carbon fiber stringers into fiberglass layups ensures a smooth power release in and out of turns while increasing pop, liveliness, and longevity of the snowboard without adding unnecessary rigidity.
Carbon Torque Forks™
Carbon fiber stringers in a V-shape, extending from just outside of the inserts to the contact points in the tip and tail for added pop, response, and stability.
Sintered 4000 Base
The sintered 4000 base absorbs wax deep into the material for relentless glide and unrivaled durability.
